These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase of tickets to our events.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Event Details
The event is an intimate dinner with Rory Sutherland on Monday 10 August 2026, 6:00pm – 9:00pm at a private dining room, Crown Melbourne. Tickets are strictly limited to 30 guests.
2. Ticket Purchase
- Tickets are sold via Square and are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
- All prices are in Australian Dollars and exclude GST (AUD$9,750 + GST).
- Your ticket is confirmed only after full payment is received and you receive a confirmation email.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion (with a full refund).
3. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Square. We do not store your full credit card details.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
- Your right to cancel: – Cancellations received in writing more than 30 days before the event (i.e. by 11 July 2026) → Full refund (minus any payment processing fees). – Cancellations between 14–30 days before the event → 50% refund. – Cancellations less than 14 days before the event or no-shows → No refund.
- Our right to cancel or change the event: If we cancel the event for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price. If we make a significant change (e.g. date, venue, or speaker), we will notify you and offer you the choice of a full refund or attendance at the revised event. Minor changes (e.g. slight timing adjustments, menu variations) will not entitle you to a refund.
- All refund requests must be sent in writing to enquiries@anappetiteforalchemy.com. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
5. Attendance & Behaviour
- Recording, photographing, or live-streaming the event (audio or video) is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, without refund.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your attendance, except where caused by our negligence.
- We are not responsible for any personal items lost or damaged at the venue.
- Our total liability to you will not exceed the price of your ticket.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and event materials remain our property or that of Rory Sutherland. You may not reproduce or share them without permission.
8. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in place at the time of your purchase will apply.
